Lighting the lanterns…

Welcome, good apothecary

Thy first day at the apothecary

It is thy first shift at the village apothecary. Travelers arrive seeking protection, and the Senior Apothecary is here to check thy recommendations. Their vaccination records are thy patient ledger.

  1. Interrogate the parchment. Read their age, health conditions, and vaccination history.
  2. Raid the armory—responsibly. Click Flu, Pneumo, RSV, or COVID to toggle each shield. You may leave them all empty.
  3. Ask thy mentor. Compare your plan with the explanation. Full-color shields mean protection due today. Empty slots mean no dose now. Later doses say “Schedule.”

Equip only doses still due at this visit. A dose already given today stays unequipped. The verdict checks disease choices; read the explanation for products, doses, and later appointments. Infant RSV protection uses antibodies, not a vaccine. Other routine vaccines remain outside this game. No timer. No points. Invite the bard with the Sound button for gentle lute-like notes and shield sounds; sound starts off. Background music has its own toggle and volume slider, and continues between travelers. Consult thy reference tome at leisure.
